Jan 05,  · The extended version of Clair de Lune. This song is my favorite music from Debussy. Thank you to Debussy for the lovely composition and Orchestre Radio-Symphonieque Paris for playing the song beautifully. I'm glad the song reaches many people. So once again, thank you for listening. I have my own music as well:) please go to.

The title means ‘Moonlight’ and the piece is actually part of the four-movement work Suite Bergamasque. ‘Clair de lune’ takes its title from an atmospheric poem by the French poet Paul Verlaine which depicts the soul as somewhere full of music ‘in a minor key’ where birds are inspired to sing by the ‘sad and beautiful’ light of the moon.

"Clair de Lune' is actually the third and most famous movement of Claude Debussy's "Suite Bergamasque." Although Debussy wrote the piece in at the age of 25, it was not published until By that time it had been partially re-written as well as re-titled. The original name of this piece was "Promenade Sentimentale.".
